This curated show, "Closer to the Flame" is an exhibit of Buringman related art pieces intended to show the creative culture of the playa. The show features textiles, photos, sculpture and more.

I chose this show to focus on my sister, Leslie, who has had a rough time in the last few years. The Dot has changed from previous incarnations, soundwise this version uses primarily low gong and bell tones, with a few natural voices in the mix. The intention is to recognize the troubles that Leslie has had, but to offer a space to soothe and calm.
